The Okra Network seeks to provide a platform to those searching for resources to help change the narrative in Africa. We are here to transform the way you connect with Africa by creating a one-stop platform connecting you to causes in Africa and providing you with opportunities to help.

Over 1 billion people, with nearly half under the age of 25, the continent of Africa will be impacted by the volume of the next generation. The Okra Network believes that the catalyst for growth and development lies in human capital. The web continues to be the greatest medium for connecting. Therefore, establishing a space to connect interested people with communities they love is crucial.

Who are we? The Okra Network

Volunteering in Africa needs to be seen as more than just "free labor". It is a way to improve communities, sharpen new skills, build on your network pool, and even show future employers how much better you are at time management. We partner with organizations working in and Africa to ensure that they continue to be seen by the world.
